Submitted a slide portfolio (15 pieces) - did you submit a portfolio. They say it isn't necessary, but I can't imagine someone being accepted without one.

yeah i sent one in too. I wouldn't make sense if you didn't.

By the way, was accepted ED1.

NUgrad - Accepted ED1? Cool. Must have been a relief. Anyway...

I want to major in drawing and/or illustration and minor in creative writing, though I may try double majoring. Depends on the workload. I submitted a disk portfolio with my app, and intend to submit a slide portfolio so I'll be elgible for the art scholarships.

A few more stats:

Nat. Merit commended

SATIIs: Am Hist - 760; Bio - 710; Math1c - 650.

My daughter submitted the slide portfolio only, though we did email a couple later pieces. She is planning to double-major. According to something we read/saw, about 30% of Art students double major. We attended Art & Architecture Day, and all of the students there had combined Art & Academics. My daughter, as of now, is interested in Painting & Archaeology - she likes the idea of doing restoration, but doesn't really have enough information to know... As for ED 1 relief - you betcha! It was pandemonium when we saw that beautiful acceptance letter on the website.
