Art Portfolio?

Hey, I sent in my application (ED) a week ago, but I’m worried about my art portfolio. I uploaded some of my supplemental arts material through the portfolio section in my UChicago Account online, but it seems like there’s no indication that they’ve received it—no green checkmarks like other parts of the application. Also, it looks like I can still edit my portfolio online, but wouldn’t it be locked after a certain date? Ah I don’t know!

Is this normal? Do they ever acknowledge that they’ve received my portfolio at all? And can I just…edit it whenever I want, then? I’m just worried that they might overlook my portfolio. It’s of decent quality, and art is really important to me.

When you are in doubt, call the school. My guess is that everything uploaded to your id will be reviewed.

D17 uploaded a supplement (youtube link) and we noticed the same things you did. Not even sure the youtube link works properly on their end (though I have no reason to think this - it worked just fine for us . . . )

EDIT/UPDATE: just checked again and now they say they’ve received it. So maybe it’s just taking time for them to download and process everything.
