Art Portfolio

Barnard is the only school I’m applying to that doesn’t mention an art supplement–or if they do, I can’t find it anywhere. I would really like to send in some supplemental materials (portfolio, art resume) as I did for all the other schools. Does anybody know anything about this? If it’s not mentioned, is it just better not to send anything at all?

In a past post someone mentioned sending slides to Columbia, since that’s where the studio classes are. I wonder if this would even be effective?

I would appreciate any help! Good luck to everyone else who is finishing up all these essays…

at the beginning of the barnard paper application (and at the website), barnard says that you can send in supplemental material like artwork (in the form of slides) BUT they do not guarantee that anyone from that subject will look at it or that anyone will look at it at all...

Thanks so much! I hope they'll still look at it if it's postmarked after the first. I'm not liking the way post office hours and deadlines coincide this weekend...
