Art PreCollege programs -- question!

Hey guys! I have done my fair share of research for a lot of PreCollege summer programs for art schools, and I want your personal opinions.

First off, I am in my junior year. I'm about 80% sure I want to continue with some sort of Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or Digital Photography after High School.

Secondly, I'm actually a horrible artist if you give me a pencil and paper, but my ideas flow much better on the computer. So I'm really worried that I'm going to be the one who doesn't meet expectations at these programs and I'd feel like I wasted money D:

So far my choices are (in order):
Art Institute (mainly because it's close + easier transportation!)
Pratt (but it seems they have a foundation class so I'm scared)
School of Visual Arts
SCAD's Rising Star (my GPA may not be up to par because of this year's grades -__-)
Parsons

Does anyone have any personal recommendations on which is a good one to attend and any tips?

Hi, my daughter (current junior) attended the RISD pre-college program last summer and majored in digital photography. She, like you, was concerned about her lack of drawing skills. She ended up learning a lot about drawing (mostly from her suite mates), and had an amazing experience. I wouldn’t let the concern about drawing or foundation dissuade you from applying to the pre-college program you want to go to. In pre-college, it’s all about the learning experience! Good luck!
