Hellp Wise Ones,
We have a daughter who is interested in science and representational art. She is thinking about a dual degree, or a major/minor combination. Can anyone here give me feedback on the art program? There are some programs who emphasize the conceptualization, and aren’t as concerned with (for example) figure drawing, strong skill in representing what is seen realistically, etc. It’s quite a dramatic contrast between programs. Can anyone tell me where SCU stands, and give me a feel for the strengths/weaknesses of the program? Thank you! If you have links to student work, that would be awesome too - the art program section of the general school website doesn’t show much work. Thank you!
Bump? Disappointed at lack of responses - anyone going into art that could talk about why they picked SCU? Any new reviewers? Any comments from students on the new building?
I’d like to know the same thing!
