D got accepted in PrattMWP. 13K scholarship. No word from Brooklyn Pratt yet.
Still waiting for SAIC. It’s killing me
Curious to know what scholarship/aid RISD has given in the past years. From all the schools we heard from we haven’t got anything out of FAFSA so far. So should that be ruled out for RISD? Do they give merit scholarships or is it only need based?
D has not applied yet and if we don’t get any need based or a very generous amount of merit she is not willing to go through the application.
Until now comparing schools we have heard from, the average cost after scholarships have been around $40k or a little more. This is still over than what we had thought and if anything is more than this it’s better ruled out.
Anyone with previous experience with RISD? Tia
@SomaRathore My D got $28k “RISD Scholarship”, the $5,500 federal and $2k work study. So yep, ticket price of $37.500.

Still waiting for SAIC, as well, but was pleasantly surprised to hear from California College of the Arts (CCA) by email today. $22,000/year for Creative Achievement Award. Yay!

Just wanted to let everyone know I finally heard back from SAIC and was accepted!! I also received the Presidential Scholarship (113k!) from them.
An invitation to their First Year Scholars program was included in my packet - does anyone have any information about this?
