Art schools?

<p>Hey! So, I'm a senior this year looking to attend arts schools this fall. My ideal future career is photographer, preferably fashion photographer, and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as far as schools? I'm going to apply to RISD, SVA, FIT, Parsons, SCAD, and maybe Pratt. I was curious about schools that may be on the West Coast, if you have any recommendations in that area. (My parents would prefer if I stayed close to home, but it's not a requirement for me, haha) </p>

<p>So, I guess I'm looking for opinions and suggestions! What good programs are out there for an aspiring photographer? Any opinions on the schools I have already selected? Thank you :D</p>

<p>Here is the USNWR list of the top photography colleges. The best on the West Coast in order are:

  1. University of New Mexico
  2. California Institute of Arts (how did you over look this?!)
  3. San Francisco Institute of Arts / UCLA
  4. Arizona State University / California College of Arts</p>

<p>There are many great west coast photography schools. They make up roughly half of the top 10.</p>
