<p>How much of an impact does doing the Arts Supplement make if you're applying RD? Does it give you any advantage what so ever (like having a hook might?)?</p>

<p>From what I know, art and music supplements are evaluated on a 1-6 scale by the faculty. If you get a high rating (>4?), it becomes a part of your admission file, and is a pretty big boost (your app moves from a general “admitable” pile of many thousands into a pretty small pile of ones whom someone at Stanford wants).</p>
