Art Supplement Question

Does Harvard take photographs on a CD or does it have to be slides, and a link with exact instructions on submitting an art supplement at Harvard would be helpful as well.

From Harvard’s website (supplemental materials) -
"Slides

If you are sending slides, please label each mount with your legal name, date of birth and high school.
Please insert all slides into clear plastic, notebook-style slide pages.
Please send visual artwork only in slide format unless your work must be viewed in electronic form in order to be evaluated.
Please choose a maximum of 12 slides representing your best work.
Please indicate the total number of slides submitted in your cover letter."

“Please send visual artwork only in slide format . . .” seems pretty explicit to me. Not sure how to covert digital or negatives to slide, but I know it can be done.

Good luck.

Actually, you can send them on a CD. I called with the same question. They conceded that slides are hard to buy nowadays and would accept images on a CD.

Thanks everyone
I called and they said cds are okay because slides are a ridiculous waste of money and time

Thank you so much for asking this question!

You just saved me! I had the same question and was about to waste $30.
