Hi, sorry this is so last-minute, but can someone tell me where to find the information regarding Penn and the art supplement? I've searched the website and can't find anything, not even a specific form. It's too late for me to send the Common App art supplement, because I didn't get a teacher rec. Does Penn have their own requirements/guidelines, or do they not accept it at all? Please help me, I need to get everything copied today. Thanks so much!!!!

I would just send in whatever it is (a short tape, a video, a portfolio) – and call the admissions building on Monday to double check. Don’t stress out too much about the deadline. If the rest of your application is in, they will still accept it, I think.

i applied ED and they told me just to mail a CD with a powerpoint of my art on it, not to bother with the whole common app supplement. they also said to label the CD with my name and social security number.

I also sent in a CD with the artwork slides for ED. And yes, label it with your birthdate also. they said they prefer a CD when i called, but dont want the common app thing.

iffy, you can’t go wrong with mailing it as well.

SAT2350, i have a friend who sent in a research abstract, but i’m pretty sure she didn’t send it in as an arts supplement…isn’t there a place on the common app for extra stuff? i recall attaching a resume to my application.

no i didnt send a letter or anything actually but it cant hurt… but on the CD I renamed each file with the title and medium (watercolor and color pencil looked identical lol). I would also call penn a week later and follow up that they matched your application to the CD
