<p>I'm planning on submitting an art supplement with my ED application. On Columbia's website it says to not submit it through Common App but rather to mail it in with your name and Columbia ID printed on it... when/where/how do I receive this ID?</p>

<p>your columbia ID is in an email that you get AFTER you submit both the common app and the supplement. so if you want to submit that art supplement and it says that, you’re gonna have to submit your app, then wait about 5 days (that’s how long it took for mine to come) and then send your art. </p>

<p>thanks! I’m applying ED though, and I’ll submit my application tonight. Does my supplement have to be postmarked by November 1st as well?</p>
