Art supplementary materials

My daughter has learned painting since she was seven. This is just her hobby and she does not plan to major art at a college. My question is that it is helpful or not if she submit her art portfolio to demonstrate one of her extracurricular activities.

I have almost the same problem, but I've been told that unless the work is VERY VERY good, like almost professional good, it won't do much.

However, there are other ways to work in art into you app. i.e. my Hopkins essay will have art with it, and for the Rice box, I drew.

I dunno...I feel that even if it is not like "professional good," I think you should turn it in. I mean if your daughter has a passion for art, I think she should demonstrate that.

To me, it shows that your daughter is interested in other types of creative things.
