<p>I want to submit the art supplements (slides), but I don't know the general rules of submitting art supplements.
I could not find any infor about that.</p>
<p>Does UNC accept CDs?</p>
<p>I emailed them last year about submitting writing supplements, and they said that they will accept supplements, but they won’t take them into consideration for your admission. If you want to major in art or something, it might be different… but that’s how it was last year.</p>
<p>Do you mean the supplemental essay (basically tell extra stuff about yourself to UNC) does not have any effect on the admission?</p>

Becuase when I visited UVA, the dean told me that would actually HELP you.

<p>I didn’t ask about the supplemental essay, I asked if I should send some poems with my application. I think the supplemental essay should help your chances (although I got in fine without it).</p>
