<p>yeah, that is pretty cool. i tell myself that i will be a student at brown, one way or the other. i was also waitlisted, but by-golly, i'm not going to give in to the college admission process. i am doing everything i can think of to get accepted from the waitlist, so yeah, you gave me a bit of inspiration.</p>

<p>I looked at some of the articles under his politics section ;-). Just kidding, I dont care at all, I just heard some people say some pretty mean things about it.</p>
<p>Seriously though, Pete and I had a little bit of a lively discourse about a piece he wrote on the academic bill of rights earlier today.</p>
<p>People can say what they want: that's there opinion. The newspaper contacted me and wrote the piece. I do agree that it does make me sound a little obsessed with the school; however, I think a lot of the people who apply feel the same way, even if they don't publish it on a blog.</p>
<p>And I appreciated the discussion :) I stopped posting since the comments were getting long and I'd rather not have one-on-one discussions on there. Feel free to drop me an e-mail or IM if you want to discuss anything else.</p>

<p>I think you should be proud of what you did, Pete. I'll bet those five comments about the " '09 loser" are all from the same person, someone who's jealous for not getting written about in the BDH for unsuccessfully trying to pick up girls at parties, or binge drinking or something like that.</p>
