To change the direction on this thread, OP, it might be helpful for you to know that medical schools are much less ‘prestige oriented’ than many other graduate schools. It’s more about your GPA and MCAT score than where you attended college. For many serious pre-meds, the goal is to attend a school where you feel confident that you can be at the top of the class academically (and not go into debt because medical school is extremely expensive).
