Hi everyone!

I have a bit of a dilemma I hope you guys can help me out with. McGill is my top choice university, and I got into both of the faculties I applied to (arts and sciences and sciences). I know in general that I want to study psychology (as a science), and philosophy, but I don't know which faculty would be better.

What do law schools and med schools think of combined BA & Sc degrees? Is there a preference for more traditional degrees? Which do you think would be more useful?

Thanks for your input!

If you want to double major in science psych and philosophy, you MUST be in arts sci. If you want to minor in one, you can be in either.
Law schools and med schools, I’m pretty sure, don’t care much about what your degree is but rather your GPA and MCAT and LSAT score.

How is McGill’s arts and humanities academics/reputation ranked in comparison to other schools in N. America? We have to make a decision very soon among Wake Forest, UMd, and McGill. Appreciate if any one has an opinion on McGill’s humanities program.

I’m in McGill humanities (arts) program.
The grades are tough, but most departments are great. Classics department is known to be amazing, though philosophy department seems to be dying away little by little as experienced professors focus more and more on research and administrative work. If you have any more questions, message me, I’ll be happy to answer questions (:
