Just looking at the McGill admissions criteria website... it says that applicants to the Arts and Science school must submit an SAT II for Math. I didn't do that. I took that ACT (31) and submitted the two SAT II subject tests I took (Spanish- 780 and USH-760). Anyone can comment on admission without an SAT II for Math?

Here's the website where I'm getting my information:

I always thought that the requirement for SAT IIs was waived if you submitted an ACT score; what’s your GPA? If your GPA is 3.8+ then McGill is a safety.

Collegerm -
I hope I am wrong, but I do read those requirements to suggest you need the Math SAT II.

I have another question - does anyone know if the grade requirements taken into account levels? My daughter has all As and A-s in Honors and APs, except she just received a B+ in AP English (despite having scored 800 on both writing and critical reading SATs). I hope it is not the case that an A- in honors would be viewed more highly than a B+ in AP…

Yes, it seems like you may. But I actually applied to the Faculty of Arts, not arts and sciences.

Anyway, for those of you waiting a decision… I had my counselor upload my 7th semester grades yesterday, and I got my admitted decision last night at like 9.

It says I need to uphold my current academic standing… how strict is this? I currently have all A’s, but if next semester I get a B or two, is that grounds for them to rescind my admission?
