I just received a C- on my midterm. (bleh) My friends and I were wondering if anyone who took (or current students) his A&A 10 class if he curves midterm, finals, or overall grade? He didn't say it on the syllabus. I emailed him 2 emails (not cocerning about this) during this quarter and received ZERO email replies from him... So much for his concern for his students... I know he's a busy guy.. answering his phone calls during lectures, but seriously.. :\

P.S. Do I have a slightest reach to obtain an A- or above for this class? T__T

I just received a B and i thought I would have done a lot better.... i think he curves it basing off the highest score.. and i believe sumone got a perfect so yeah.. but we still have extra credit to account for and it was only 20% so you might have a chance?

i got a 74 on the first midterm, 82 on the final, B on participation, A- on my papers, and did the final project and ended up with an A-. It is definitely possible to get an A if you do well on the final and do the EC.

Did his class just get harder? I had him Fall 2005 and got an A on the midterm and an A- on the final (overall grade was an A)...I thought this class was one of the easier ones...just remember to write down literally everything he says or someone else says (I think he has performers come in right?) during lecture. How is the class format now? Does he still make you go to 5 performances and then write about them?
