<p>Hey, so I have been accepted to UVA and really liked what I saw when I stayed overnight last week. However, what I didn't see much of was the "artsy" side of campus. Are there a lot of cultural opportunities/events always happening on grounds? And if I wanted to find a more. . creative/intellectual/alternative (poor word choice, sorry!) group of people, would it be difficult to do so? Are there any particular activities I could get involved in to expediate the process of finding my niche? Thanks!</p>
<p>there are, like, 500 clubs here. i guarantee one of them has the kind of people you’re looking for. there’s also an art department here, you could befriend majors and/or take classes. it also depends what kind of artsy you’re looking for - there are artsy like choir, arsty like art majors, artsy like indie movies, etc etc and all of those have clubs here.</p>
