Arts/Design and Technology Programs?

Any schools that have interdisciplinary arts/design and technology programs? I'm not very accomplished in the arts (through awards or anything), but I have a passion and have some pieces that I could submit. I do have accomplishments in technology. I have a 3.87 UW GPA with 12 weighted classes, 2300+ SAT, 750+ on two subject tests, 5's on all the AP tests I have taken so far (four of them).

Tufts has an interdisciplinary minor in Multimedia arts offered through the Experimental College and sponsored by the engineering and fine arts departments.

Tufts also has a partnership with the School of The Museum of Fine Arts which offers design classes either on campus or at the Museum School.

The Experimental College also offers a suite of courses that changes each semester and includes some related courses.

Brown and RISD

CMU’s BCSA program is one of the best.

WUSTL has a great program that they call “interaction design.”

Stanford also has a joint engineering and design program that is tech focused.

Design programs both at art schools and in art departments of universities and colleges are undergoing a seachange right now as tech becomes an increasingly important part of what design is all about. (Or I could say as design becomes an increasingly important part of what tech is all about.) As you research individual colleges I sure you’ll find programs and courses that are moving in the “more-tech” direction.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I already knew about CMU and Brown, but I was looking for some match schools with full on interdisciplinary major programs (if there are any).
