I cant find any stats of people admitted to UVA Engineering so I was wondering how much harder (stat wise) it'd be to get into engineering than A&S.

This is simply my opinion…Keep in mind that SEAS tends to have higher math scores and is self selecting so you can’t read too much into simply scores and stats. It’s not harder or easier, it’s a different pool of students, with different strengths and interests. I would caution against looking at it any other way. Students apply to SEAS because they want to study engineering, not for strategic admissions.

Oh no, I’m genuinely interested in engineering I’m just worried that I won’t get accepted to SEAS. I think I stand a decent chance for A&S but since my mat score on the SAT was my lowest, 630 (I suck at SAT math), and I’m a senior in Pre-Calc, it will prevent me from getting in.

Scores are only one part of your application. If you are interested you should apply! I can’t give you advise of SEAS vs CAS however. All students, no matter their stats should always have another option that is considered an academic and financial ‘match or safety’ so I would recommend that.

Best of luck to you!

I think your concerns are genuine… Not only for eschool but also for CLAS. Most incoming students have taken a year of calculus.
