New for Fall '10-transfer student (stop judging :P)

Anyways, I'm wondering what kind of a workload I should expect when I start in the fall, along with everybody else? I'm not in Haas or engineering or sciences, but a language program.

I've heard classes can be so hard that you have almost no time to socialize-I'm hoping it's not thaaat bad! lol

Can anybody attest to this or tell me how it's been for them!?! Thanks!

You’re in a language major so it shouldn’t be too bad. It’s not a pre-med major or anything. Take the minimum amount of units (13) bc, from what I hear, it WILL be a HUGE adjustment from your usual easy CC classes. It’s all about balance. 13 units is like 3 classes so just start from there. It’s obviously not impossible. Good luck and see ya at Berkeley!

Also, a lot of language classes are 5 days a week for an hour or so, so you’ll probably have classes all 5 days a week, depending on your proficiency level. check schedule.berkeley.edu!!
