Is the online submission site up yet? The deadline for SCEA is only a couple weeks away, but I still can't seem to find it!

i also! there’s only site for 2017. anyway, do u know how will we submit? can we upload a video etc to the portal? or must send in by mail?
coz i am wondering whether the portal is just for submission of ur arts form?

I talked to an admissions counselor who told me that they are having problems with the arts supplement and the common app this year. I’m probably just going to submit mine through the mail.

I do not have any inside information. About one week ago the NYT printed this article explaining that the online Common Application was experiencing system implementation problems this year. If the problems have not been resolved and you are applying SCEA I recommend that you read this article and ask the admissions office how to submit your application.

Good Luck to you all.

Thanks for the article. The common app is really getting on my nerves…

which email shall we send to?

I think that you print out the paper form from their website, fill it out, and mail it in via snail mail

Ack!!! Snail mail makes me nervous. I really want to submit it online. I feel like they should extend the deadline for it if there’s technical difficulties. At least the arts supplement doesn’t have to be in until Nov 6th.

I worked so hard on it. It’s getting there somehow.

I totally agree with you sparkle. But think about it this way, in less than 2 weeks, our applications will be submitted, and we can take a breath.

Here is another article discussing the problems with online Common Application.

Students unable to successfully complete the Common Application should be aware that Princeton also accepts the Universal College Application. See this FAQ from the Princeton web site.

Good Luck to All

What is the Universal College Application? Does it have different essay prompts? All my recommendations are already submitted through the Common App.

Did you guys notice?? When you click on the arts supplement link the heading now says Class of 2018! The paragraph under it still says they’re no longer accepting submissions for the class of 2017 though. :(

Seriously…I’ll check it out now. This is getting crazy.

I just checked it! It’s up now Finally!
