good lord if theres one forum website where threadjacking happens about 90% of the time, its here.

USC is a school known for it’s location-- That is it!

I think University of Phoenix…online… is the best school!

Oops, Thank you transferguy:
I personally feel USC has the 2nd best undergraduate Business program in California, next to Cal. But there alumni network is huge, tight-knit, and strong. UCLA and Stanford have the best Business Graduate programs. Both schools are equally well known, partly due to the success of their athletics. (The “Flutie-effect”)

Keep yapping away taco grande. Ignorant boy…

Heh. The irony.

I’m from North Carolina. Here, UCLA’s seen as a bit more prestigious, mainly because it’s quite difficult to get in as an OOS. USC attracts students from my HS primarily with its scholarships.

Internationally, though, I think UCLA is universally more well-known than USC.

When I mentioned USC, people thought I was talking about South Carolina. Then I say “Southern Cal” and they’re like “Oh, they have a good football team.”

When I mention UCLA, people mentioned sports or said “that’s a good school”.

So basically, on the other side of the country, no one knows the difference or even cares beyond very general impressions, which are the same in this case.
