As an eng. school, how difficult is Pratt?

We've all heard about the impossible and the cutthroat engineering programs. We know that if you're considering Cornell, MIT, and Cal Tech engineering that you're in for total academic immersion. But where does Duke stand in terms of the difficulty level? I'd just like a general idea of what people have heard, and what people who have attended have thought of it.

Thanks so much.

Duke engineering is more theoretical than at those other schools which are more applications based. I really don't know all the consequences of that but maybe you do.

Pratt is somewhat theoretical and geared toward graduate school. Nonetheless, it produces superb problem solvers. The work load is very demanding, more so than the college of arts and crafts, but manageable and does not have as brutal a grading system as some others, including GaTech.

college of arts and crafts, lol

Arts and Crafs? Is it really that easy?

Joey

i think they were just being funny, and obviously nott planning on being in trinity, i doubt at a school like duke, any major is that easy

Well ... I think we'd find that there's a lot more grade inflation in the humanities majors than there is in the engineering program. But yeah, it's probably not that easy.

Joey

Im sure its still hard, hopefully its easier than at other schools.
