FOX Sports on MSN - COLLEGE FOOTBALL - Carr to step down after 13 seasons

What do you think of the possible successors the article brings up?

Not a surprise, really, but I'm disappointed. I guess we needed a fresh approach, but I liked the man. I liked the clean program and I loved all he did for Mott.

Still, you got to be happy for the man getting his life back and getting out of spotlight. It's a job I think you'd have to be crazy to do.

agree with hoedown. I loved Carr, a very classy man. It was hard not to like him.

I'm not a fan of Les Miles, but I think he is the best coach that has been mentioned. Iowa hasn't been too successful lately, and Kelley doesn't have great experience with big-time programs.

Too many Iowa players have had problems with the law lately. I would think that hurts their coach's candidacy here.

Well, I respect coach Carr but I am so glad that he is retiring. I don't like Miles and I hate the idea of Ferentz being on the UM sidelines. I do like Kelly but I don't think that will be it; I think there are plenty of other possible candidates that are not mentioned in that article.

Put me against the idea of bringing in Ferentz.

finally...
