AS student lecture notes helpful?

Are the associated student lecture notes helpful in studying for a final? specifically for chem6b final? i thought that reading the book was enough but my professor (crowell) actually tests on lecture material as well and i don't pay attention in class so i was wondering if it is a good idea to buy the lecture notes. are they helpful/useful?

thanks

If you’re pressed for time, just do the practice exams over and over again until you have the concepts down cold. Crowell is famous for keeping the same types of questions on every exam he gives out, just adjusting numbers here and there. I had a TA who took his exams from the previous three years, analyzed them for #s of questions per concepts (ie, 2 questions on le chatelier, 4 on weak acid-base titrations, etc), and could predict what would be on the next exam.

That said, what are the titles of the chapters being tested this time around? I may have some good suggestions.

thanks!
we are learning about lewis dot and vespr, valence bond theory and molecular orbital theory, ideal gases, intermolecular forces, solubility of solutions, equilibrium, acid-base equilibria and ionic equilibria

Good to see the syllabus hasn’t changed much. PM me, I’ve got some stuff.

you seem to be not accepting pms o.o

PMed you just now

could you help me out too astrina? Same prof, and would love some extra help :)

Anyone know how good/helpful AS lecture notes are with non-science/humanities classes? I’m thinking of buying ones for SOCI 50 (Skrentny), specifically, but not sure how helpful they really will be. :stuck_out_tongue: (I think I take pretty good notes, but I’m SUPER nervous for this class/final and really want all the help I can get. :stuck_out_tongue: )
