ASAP!!! Architecture over the summer? Rising Senior!

Hi!

I was hoping if someone could name any architecture summer programs that would still accept applications at this time...(I know it's too late)..but I have to do something! I'm so worried that I'll have nothing to put on college apps for my summer before senior year...

or for those of you that were interested in architecture but didn't attend summer architecture camps..what did you do? Like what did you do over the summer that was related to architecture? Could you give me ideas?

Please help! I don't know what I should do over the summer..or where to start..
I tried emailing architect firms..but none of them responded..

Also..I know this isn't related to architecture, but I was wondering if I got a job instead of volunteering over the summer..will colleges think it is a bad choice? Will it look bad on college apps?

Thank you!! Please reply I would really appreciate it! Or pm me!!!

Bumping because I’d really like to know the answer to this too.

the latest issue of “Imagine” by Johns Hopkins CTY program was devoted to architecture and engineering. On this link [Current Issue Resources | JHU CTY](http://cty.jhu.edu/imagine/resources/current_issue.html) scroll down to the “summer programs” listing. There are a lot of summer programs listed which specialize in architecture. I don’t know if any fall within your dates but you can go through them and see. They also list some online resources. Also be sure to read the issue-if you look at the far left you will see a cover of it and you can click on it to see the digital form.

I also suggest you contact your local historical society or preservation organization. Architecture preservation is the cornerstone of those groups and you might learn something about it with those groups.
