Asian Factor?

<p>Claremont McKenna has a very low OVERALL acceptance rate-- around 17%. It’d be interesting, though, to see the average stats of Asian vs. non-Asian applicants. It could be that, because they get so many highly qualified Asian applicants, it’s a bit harder for an Asian to get in, because they want to maintain diversity.</p>

<p>Same thing happens for girls at lots of liberal arts colleges-- more than 50% of the applicants are girls, but they want to keep the school 50/50, so it’s harder for girls to get in.</p>
