<p>as an asian out-of-state freshman (two minority groups at unc!) i thought of joining a sorority. i'm not debating whether or not to join one, but i'm wondering how asians are treated during rush and in the greek system in general. i'm just seeing if i should rush PHC or just go with the flow and join akdphi.</p>
<p>I would be surprised if there were more than …15 Asians in the entire PHC, but don’t let that discourage you.</p>
<p>Go for it! One of the reasons that there are fewer minorities in the Greek system is because fewer minorities go through recruitment! You will be fine, and if you don’t like it then you don’t have to pledge.</p>
<p>Annn (she posts here) is an out of state Asian in Greek life and she seems to enjoy it quite a bit. :)</p>
