okay 1st suggestions

  1. aim higher on ur TEST SCORES! esp MIT and since u want to do
engineering get 750+ on ur SAT2’s ( getting a 800 in math IIC isnt rly that hard)
  2. work on those ECs you stil have two years from looking at ur ECs i wouldn’t be able to tell you want to major in engineering try to get a summer internship or something the summer before your senior year
  3. get ur gpa up for MIT and Duke 3.75+ un weighted GPA is competitive just get good grades junior+ 1st semester senior year and take alot of Ap classes
    but as of rite now

MIT: HIGH reach
Duke: reach
Carnegie Mellon: reach
Georgia Tech: idk prob. match
NYU Polytechnic Institute: ditto
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute: ditto
Worcester Polytechnic Institute: ditto
University of Connecticut: in
Gateway Community College: haha innn why are u applying to a community college?

Well, NYU-Poly is good at CS and EE… but I don’t think that will be hard to get into. However, if you are gonna apply for that, make sure that you apply for honors…

izy2492 is right.
You still have two years, bring up your gpa and test scores.
It’s way to early to “chance you”.

^yeah.

Not to mention, these colleges may change in reputation. I’m mostly talking about NYU-Poly. I think it’s an okay-decent college now, but in the next few years, with NYU mothering it, it should improve significantly. There’ve been a few changes already.
