Unlikely. But apply to Oxford too and your odds increase. The TO will likely hurt you.

I think if you were RD you don’t have a shot. But you never know. Good luck.

Emory ED is like 40%. I’d say that he has a pretty decent shot

For the students in the ORM category, having a high test score will certainly help. If you apply test optional, they will assume you did poorly on the standardized tests.

What is your estimated class rank? Unweighted of 4.0 should put you near the top of your class? Even if your HS doesn’t rank, they can typically estimate. If you are in the top 1-2% of your class that might weigh more than poor standardized testing.

I base my opinion on the 5 APs. Yes they offer 9. I didn’t say not apply. I said include Oxford for best odds.

My belief, right or wrong, is schools that went TO last year will be tougher with it this year. Last year you may not have been able to test. You can’t say the same this year.
