so thats why i have no chance at wharton. people like you should disappear :P

haha you are definately a worthy applicant imo....great shot @ all of the schools on ur list...

gl!

solid, but i would try to improve the writing score.

i'd say it's worth a shot. Wharton accepts more ED than many of its peers, so that's a good call anyway. NYU is the only match on your list, though. Still need a safety...

Amazing stats and ECs. Pretty good shot. Nice imvolvement in business activities.

Yeah, do me up with a sample.

thanks for feedback...
I signed up for oct. SAT (to improve writing) but my counselor said not to take it because i have taken SAT 4 times already :-( so thats it for me...just gotta make those essays good

sample:heres a track i produced for the premier yale rap group 108 Tongues. its called Ecumenical...

http://pantheon.yale.edu/~jgc23/Ecumenical.mp3

I see you've taken the new Sat I and the writing portion of the SAT II. I didn't know they still had the SAT II writing test.

they dont, i took it like last november

wait stambliark, could you explain why NYU is a match, but not Umich or even berkeley? i've heard that NYU-stern is pretty darn competitive...

UMich is a match, imo.

wow i'm impressed with the sample. i was entranced...it even tore me away from my calc hw for a good half hour!

haha nice i have some more but they become more like technoish

Michigan is not a match if we are talking about Ross School of Business, which is likely to accept ~60 students. Michigan College is certainly a match, possibly a safe match.

Berkeley is more selective than NYU-Stern IF you are out state (which you are).

oh I didnt know the rate was so low...
thanks for that stambliark

Wharton ED- Rejected
but also NYU,- Accepted
Umich- Accepted
berkeley- Accepted
MIT -rejected

uhh Ross doesn't take undergrads until Junior year. You apply to the school as a freshman and then apply again during your sophomore year.

No. There is a new process in place called "preffered admissions." Read the UM boards.

there are 8 other people applying to wharton ED from my school
do you think that they would take the guy with better SAT (1600, 2340) and GPA (4.19) over the guy with a little less stats (1540, 2240, 4.02) but more leadership and business-related activities?
who will win the battle?
