For the rundown: Impressive marks, impressive ECs, impressive everything.

You should not change your marks to the US system, send in your marks as they are.

For the SAT: Please understand that SATs are NOT the main criteria to get admission into an US college. A 2020 SAT is just fine. Give your SAT subject tests. All the schools in your list barring Williams are sorta OK colleges. You might want to include a few better schools in your list, like the ivies or schools which are good business, I really dunno which you might want to Google that up. Reminder: Your SAT score will not mar your application in anyway.

An example: A girl got into Princeton with a 2070. A guy got into Stanford with a 2000. Both with full scholarships.

A 98? Did you top the country or something?

oh wow!! really? princeton n stanford are the ivies right?? i dunno... u really think i have a chance... thing is i kinda like the business program at uchicago n harvard(who doesnt like harvard :D)
n regardin my transcripts... my school reports marks in the form of gpa only... as in.. it converts our marks to a 4 point gpa scale... so my transcripts will contain my marks in the form of gpa only i guess... will that be a problem?

Princeton is an ivy. Stanford, though not an ivy, is one of the top colleges in the world. UChicago is a pretty nice place, and no not all people like Harvard(who? me!!!).
If your school does that, there is no problem at all! Where are you from?
And yes, I realized ... the colleges in your list ... barring a few ... none are good with financial aid for international students.
Colleges which give money to internationals: Bates, Carleton, Dickinson, Grinnell, Williams.
And yes I do think you have a chance. Ofcourse that's an objective view .. I have no idea how you are as a person, or how well you write your essays. These are the two things that matter the most in your application.

i heard stanford doesnt give aid to internationals..... n i'm from chennai... i studied under the tamilnadu state board... n oh... only these colgs give aid to internationals... :( hmmm guess i got my info wrong.... i had chosen al these colgs for the sole reason that they'd give aid to internationals....

Stanford is a little stingy on aid. But if they like you, they will admit you no matter what. But internationals asking for aid have to super to be admitted.

If you don't mind me asking, how much is your family's yearly income? Or put in a better way, how much yearly do you think can your family contribute to your college expenses, taking all facts into consideration(loans, assets, liquid funds etc)?

oh why would i mind... my family earns around 4.5 lacs per year.... tats lik $9600... n my younger sis will also be startin her colg this year... so tat makes it kinda tricky... so their contribution would be very less.... not even worth mentionin... :(

Then ... there is a problem, well sort of. Trinity, Richmond and others etc do give aid but that is limited. Wherever you find the word limited on the financial aid page of the college website know that the school is not worth applying to if you are asking for almost full scholarship. I would say you stick to more need-blind schools and the other generous ones that I mentioned above.
