<p>Basically I'd like to know how strong (or non-existent) the asian community is there and if a lot of minorities hang out with their respective groups. Any comments are also appreciated.</p>

<p>It is what you make it. Basically, if you want to hang out with other Asians, you can, but you definitely do not have to. There are the people that hang out with only Asians, the people that avoid all other Asians, and the people in between.</p>
<p>are people racist at UNC? (i’m asian) where i live, in a rural Florida town, people are not that welcoming of other races & a lot are ignorant.</p>

<p>Are there racist people at UNC? Probably. I don’t know of any place that can say that it has no racists. That being said, the campus as a whole is not racist in any way, form, or fashion.</p>
<p>I don’t know about racism, but apparently UNC has a faction that’s violently pro-immigrant. </p>
