Asians in Dartmouth

What's the percentage of Asians in Dartmouth? If there are any out there on CC, could you elaborate about your experience there? I am an Asian applicant from California and I really like what I've read and heard about Dartmouth. However, I don't really know much about the Northeast.

Its something like 10-12% I believe. Honestly, its not nearly as high as some of the California schools. Asians at Dartmouth have a predominantly asian frat (Tri-kap) which is a cool place to hang out. Also, they seem to be interdispersed around campus and pretty mixed in. So its probably more integrated and less "asian-cliquey" than at other schools with higher populations like Harvard, UCB, or Stanford.

if there is only 12% asians, wat's the other 88%?

Here are the stats for the class of 2008.
Minorities: 30.8%
International: 6.2%

Minority Makeup:
African American: 7.2%
Asian: 13%
Hispanic: 6.4%
Native American: 3.4%
Multi-racial: .8%

This years class (2009) is apparently set to be more diverse than the 2008 class.

dartmouth's awesome, but it's the only ivy that doesn't offer korean language courses :-/
