Asians in Fordham?

Hello! today i visited Fordham at RH and i only see white people. i barely saw any asians and was wondering if there are any asians. When i say any asians, it means enough so i wont have to worry about making white friends. Hate to say it but the white population does not go along with me that well.

I saw 1 today (not sure if that was you)

i saw a few today actually...my tour guide was actually asian and she kept talking about the friendships she has developed over the years...also, everyone seemed to be very friendly

and toyota, your racism is not appreciated here

i just wanted a question answered, not someone to tell me i'm racist.

This is not a racist question. This is same as asking Hawaiian in Fordham?

It's small. Most are international, 6 and a half for every 100.

damn, that's depressing.

I saw a couple of Asian students. There were also a large number of Hispanic students. Also keep in mind Fordham is in NYC; Its filled with asians

I'm Asian. ;O
I saw a few Asians there today, during the Spring Preview.

lol, i was there and i am asian

my roommate is asian. there are quite a couple of asians on campus. not hard to pick em out. fordham is like the rest of america. majority is white. within the minority you'll see a bit of everything, blacks, hispanics, asians, and a couple of international students, and so on. i wouldnt worry too much. most people here are tolerant of all races. you'll have the idiot here and there, but that's to be expected anywhere. in any event you can always go to Queens every now and then and make a lot of asian friends.

I think everyone should be multi-cultural and respect whatever person they meet regardless of race. A simple observations does not mean the majority of the school is white. That's just an false assumption.

can you prove me wrong?

I don't care if the majority of the school is black, white, yellow, red, OR purple!! We need to look beyond the skin color and focus on more meaningful and defining characteristics!!! So join me brothers and sisters as we embark on a journey. We will sail across the murky sea of racism in the boat of unity until we reach the land of equality!! This journey will be filled with struggles, but with the goal in sight.. we can make it worthwhile!! Join me now or forever regret your racist ways!

As an individual of Asian descent, I find this kind of close-minded mentality absolutely disgusting. It always makes me uncomfortable to see cliques and small mobs of Asian people on campuses.

I am glad to see that you at least have found the light. You are ridding yourself of any doubt about the communal sanctity of general equality and overall unity. Together, we will stand tall and let our voices be heard as we proudly and loudly proclaim a message of hope, that someday we will speak of others in regards to their freely chosen qualities and actions, and not by the color of their skin!!!
amen I say to you!! unite as one and we will be one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ScionCars, it isn't an opinion or just an observation that the majority of Fordham University is white. It's a statistical fact.

but that should not matter! what if i went to howard university and asked if there were any white people because i dont get along well with blacks?

MCROCKED, you looking for something not there

it is a statistical fact right? it seemed like it was 90% white.
