<p>What are my chances of getting into BU CAS with a 3.71 unweighted GPA (at the end of junior year) and an 1880 SAT score? I’m aware that it doesn’t only depend on academics but based on these numbers, do I have a chance? I’d really appreciate the feedback!</p>
<p>Your SAT score is relatively low for CAS, but you make up for it with your GPA, so I’d say that you have a very good shot at being admitted.</p>

<p>Right now, I have a 4.0 UW GPA and a 31 composite ACT. I haven’t taken the SAT yet or any AP tests. What would my chances be like?</p>
<p>Considering only 26% of the student body had a 3.75+ HS GPA, if you can actually maintain a 4.0, then you’d be admitted unless you had some horrific criminal record :P.</p>
<p>ok I have a 3.68 weighted! and a 2070- if you can’t get into cgs then there’s no hope for the rest of us.</p>
<p>sat4lyfe–I am a freshman in SMG and I’m pretty sure that you will probably get into CGS. I just hope you weren’t as self-deprecating on your admissions essay as you are on this board.</p>
<p>And everyone else, you really have nothing to worry about. If you don’t get into BU, you’ll probably get into some other great school and next year you won’t even be thinking about the other schools you applied to.</p>

SMG (School of Management) - Sex, Money Greed
ENG (College of Engineering) - English No Good
CFA (College of Fine Arts) - College of False Aspirations
CAS (College of Arts and Sciences) -Completely Average Students </p>

<p>I am only a current junior in high school, but i love BU from what i have seen and read about it, and i am definitely interested in going there in the fall of 2011.</p>

GPA- around a 3.5 UW
School doesn’t weight grades, but i think i am around a 3.8 weighted? ( self calculated)
Top 20 percent at least, don’t know the exact percent, the school doesn’t tell us until graduation
SATS- taking for the first time in May with subject tests
ACTS- Taking soon too.</p>

3 years tennis, 2 years varsity, next year possible captain
3 Years leadership class
Next year senior class president maybe
Over 100 hours community service, will probably get at least 50 more before i apply
2 years national honor society ( possibly president next year)

then defer all the borderline CAS people and so on</p>

<p>I was looking at my school’s naviance statistics from previous years, and tons of people with my GPA/SAT were waitlisted (tons were accepted with lower stats though…). Oddly enough, these same people got into NYU, Michigan, Cornell, Tufts, Duke, and, one, got into Yale, so I don’t know what to think…</p>

<p>@sat4lyfe why do you make so many posts, and post questions about your stats on every post? Just wait until you hear back from the school, you already applied and you have the grades that you earned, if you have to send in mid year reports then send them in, there is nothing else you can do about it, you just have to wait until you hear back from the school. If not get your grades up at community college and then transfer to BU later. I understand that you are really anxious to hear from the school, but making this many posts all the time makes you seem a little bit pathetic. Sorry but good luck getting into BU!</p>
