I'm a female chemE major at CMU, and I'm bored over winter break. So ask away. :)

I was wondering about basically the entire social scene at CMU? Do you have time to have a life? (no offense, but you see where I’m going with this) Not to be shallow, but how are the guys? Do you feel like you made a good decision going to CMU? Anything else you think a prospective student should know?

How is the chemE program at cmu? And pittsburgh?

I am a highschool freshman from Canada. I have three questions:
- Does CIT strictly require students to have taken one year of biology?
–i will most likely apply to electrical engineering, which has nothing to do with biology… - my native language is Mandarin, but I will have lived in Canada for 5 years by the time I send my application – will I still have to take the TOEFL?
- Does the AP/EA program significantly increase participants’ chance of getting into CMU? (given that they do well in their summer courses of course)
It would be great if a current (preferably Canadian :P)student @ CMU could answer my question. Thank you! :D
