You get a grade, but it’s only 1 credit and you pretty much have to be a complete moron or not show up to not get an A.

There used to be two components: a lecture component (on health and fitness type topics), and a workout component. One was covered the first part of the semester and the other the second part of the semester. Now, you do the workout part during class and the lecture stuff is all online. The exam is on the lecture stuff only.

Interesting…thanks for answering so quickly!

yeah and they make you pay the most useless $55ish of your life…

i took raquet sports (tennis
badminton
raquetball
), which was fun, but sometimes i wished i’d taken aerobics because they did like yoga & pilates & zumba…

printers…
Is it necessary to have our own or use the universities system?

My roommate has his own printer, so sometimes I just toss him a flash drive with my stuff on it and he prints it out. Other times, I use ITS printing. Whichever is more convenient. I only used like $10 last semester, but I’ve used $30 this semester because my roommate ran out of ink for awhile and I decided to do way too much unnecessary printing.

Do we have to bring our own cable cord for the dorms in Cobb?

you don’t need a printer! you have like 800 free printer pages per semester, which i assure you is more than enough.

i had a printer in my dorm room for the first half of freshman year but never used it. my parents brought it back home at winter break and it’s in my mom’s office now haha

Hello!
I am looking at degree requirements and was wondering whether freshmen are allowed to take the Cluster classes for the Integrated Supplemental Education requirement? I have my eye on the MASC 310 course next fall but the Cluster page ([UNC-Chapel Hill’s Office of Undergraduate Curricula](http://www.unc.edu/depts/uc/clusterglobalenvironmental.html)) says it’s aimed towards 3rd and 4th year students…
Please let me know if you have any experience or knowledge about this.
Thanks!

Edit: I also have a few other quick questions -
On meal plans: if I don’t eat all of the available meals/monies, do I get cash back? =O
Are we supposed to report our health insurance? If so, how do I go about doing this?

Thank you!

you can report your health insurance through the medical history form u have to fill out on application central

And I just realized that was a dumb question because I definitely already did report it on those forms! Duh! thank you =D

okay so i have a question about social life. i’m from a somwehat big city and i just have to know. does unc have things like night clubs and shopping malls. bc when i visited i got the impression that wasnt that much available around campus. but i could be wrong…

Closest shopping mall is Southpoint, it is pretty nice and about 8 miles away. I think they have buses that go, and people drive there all the time.

The mall is not really a hangout spot.

There are clubs, like Players, which are sometimes sort of sketchy (from a girl’s perspective) but can be really fun if you go with a large group.

whoa southpoint is not 8 miles away…that would make it as far as duke.

it takes like 10ish minutes to get there, accounting for stoplights and traffic, etc.

Is Econ 101 mandatory for all majors?

No, not for all majors.

ALso did ne one have Sathy, Viji for stats in psych?
