Ask a current student anything.

@flowergirl321 Check on the admitted student’s thread. Unfortunately it seems that all the recently carefully considered are receiving waitlists, but anything could happen.

@UniversityGeek That’s what I’ve been noticing, and on the U of M website, from 2013 the director of admissions also said that if you hear back towards this time it’s most likely going to be a waitlist. But again, anything could happen, thank you!

I just saw on the tracker that I was accepted into the Honors Program. My question is that is it compulsory for honors admitted students to live in Middlebrook? Because as of now Frontier is my top choice followed by Centennial, 17th Avenue and then Middlebrook.

Also is it possible to do a double major ( in say psychology and economics) and honors?
Because i’d rather do a double major and drop honors than do only one of the above with honors

Hi!! If you are still taking questions, I would like to chime in here. I am a transfer who just got accepted to CSE for Fall 2016. I applied for housing and put down the CSE transfer house as my first choice. My parents and I have been debating whether living on campus is worth it. Personally, I am not the most talkative person (and pretty shy),so its very hard for me to meet people. Do you think living on campus is worth it in my case? And, if I do live on campus, are the clubs and student organizations, how do I say, “welcoming?” Again, I want to make an effort to meet people, but I am not so sure if this goes both ways. Thanks in advance!!!

What is the class size like for Computer Science and Math Majors in CSE? Are many of the classes taught by TAs?

How many free electives do business specifically finance majors get?
