<p>I believe I got mine on 9/1 last year… (: I was so happy when I got 4th floor. LOl then they posted something up like JUST KIDDING, THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT. </p>

<p>^ LOL! I remember that so-called housing error. The housing assignments were up for a few hours and then it was taken down because of some error. Then they made us wait several days for the new assignment. So many students were infuriated at that time. Good times…</p>

yeah u can take the bus to get to the riverside plaza

everywhere, university and canyon crest, canyon crest drive

Is the train station far from campus?
metro link is like 5 minutes if u take the 16 or 1 from campus
I understand Stater Bros. is the closest grocery store but how far are Vons and Trader Joe’s? Does the bus route take you there?

food 4 less is on chicago(can take bus)
trader joes is at the plaza
recommend goodwin’s organic store by the university book exhange(cheap books compared to bookstore and new)

<p>you have to email ur counselor but when i did that my first year they denied me.
i had 600 in gift aid and like 15000 in loans. I wanted to replace it for my loans, and yet was denied.
anyways i dunno about getting a job off campus but i know its easy to get a job at dining services(non work study)
The dining services office is in bonnockburn and they have applications and they work around ur schedule. U can work at various places throughtout campus, ie convenience store, the hub, etc…

<p>I think the HOUSING 1ST PAYMENT TRANSFER refers to transferring the $250.00 deposit (sent with the Residence Contracts back in May) from the Housing Services ledgers to the Student Business Services ledgers… Not to worry.</p>
<p>Should I buy books before school starts or wait until I go to class and then buy them?</p>
<p>You should wait since you may not need to buy some books because some professors may rely more heavily on academic journals and other sources for reading, and even if you buy the books after the first day of class you will still have plenty of time to complete the readings.</p>
<p>Some classes require books, but sometimes it’s not really necessary…</p>
<p>IE: for hist 10 with chrissanthos, you can pretty much get an A in his class without a book. you have to attend class and take good notes though. HOWEVER, you might need to purchase a book for the discussion class though (depends on your TA)</p>
