<p>So when you dormed at manzanita, was your roomate a transfer student or freshman? Did you get to know everyone on your floor?</p>
<p>My roommate was a 2nd year student who had the “I already have enough friends” mentality. The way my house was set up was with 2 guy floors and 1 girl floor with a total of about 45 people. I’d say maybe 6-8 of the people became my best friends in UCSB after my first year, and I hung out with them regularly. My future awesome roommate was also a 2nd year student who lived on the floor above me. From what I heard, the year before, the house was a lot crazier and they had a lot more partying and everyone in the house getting involved. So I think it varies year to year.</p>
