Ask CC: How is X Professor for Y Course?

14a with Scierri - Let's just say I did better on his tests than I did in my high school chemistry class (I'm not even a science major anymore, heh). Just study the reader, read the book, do a LOT of problems, and you should be fine (definitely study the reader and know how to do all of the different examples he gives). I forget what the TA's name is, but he has amazing review sessions - YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD GO TO ALL OF THEM - his review sessions helped my really helped my test scores.

Stats 10 with Davis - She was pretty nice, and the class isn't that bad. Tests are fair, I remember she let everyone write notes on a piece of paper to use during tests. That definitely helped my grade.

ill 'teach' u a few of my courses . . . =]
with labs
hands on
9pm-12am thanks + office hours all nite

how are Davis and Ioudina for Stats10?

[/quote]

didn't really like her. gave pop quizzes EVERY OTHER DAY (for stats110A). skipping class = fail.

and she doesn't curve (which i guess is a good thing) and the tests weren't that bad. similar to homework problems.

which her?

oh oops. LOL.

i was talking about ioudina, my bad.

how berges is for mgmt?

and boustan for econ?

how is Herman for Philos 22w or how is MCDONNELL, K.J. for Classic 51b art and archaelogy of ancient rome?

are these relatively easy ge's? i cant find any other easy ge's that correspond with my schedule...

Uh, don't take Ioudina. If you never listen to anything else I say, please listen to this.
I am a pretty good student and I FAILED her class. I had a serious situation that prevented me from doing well on one of her tests and she like...offered no solutions to the problem.
Her lectures are hard to understand and confuse you more, making you NOT want to go to lecture. But she has pop quizzes every other day...so yeah, screws you over. Like I said, because of serious circumstances I had to go back to Orange County every week to take care of something. She was NOT understanding at all about it.
HORRIBLE.

How is Karney for Social Psych?

I had Berges a while back, and I thought she was an effective lecturer. Way better than Litt. Her exams are not that difficult... probably on the same level as Litt's, possibly easier.

Boustan is great. I enjoyed her class lectures and found her reading assignments to be interesting and relevant. I liked NOT having dry/dull/sleep-inducing lectures and friggin quantitative problem sets, for a change.

How is Newman for Honors 35?

I don't really find the subject to be interesting, but it is the only class that fits my schedule and doesn't give me two finals on the same day.

Soo... why did this die...
Does anyone know how geo 3 with May is?

please and thank you! =D

corbin for phyiscs 1a
and Houdayer for math 31b
thanks

^
physics 1a with corbin is full :/

Corbin's class is hard but he is a great lecturer and you'll learn a lot, he'll prepare you well for the classes to come in the physics series

Adding on the gmargos - How is Mcdonnell for Classic 51B (Art and Archaeology for Ancient Rome)?
I need a TR 11-12:am GE that is easy... (and my second pass just started) >"<

How is Polk for WAC 22?
