Extemp Is Not Debate.

Srry.

@ex- well that's not as bad as I feared. Personally, the social stuff is overrated. High School is a time where you have less responsibilities and less self power. If you wanted more control over your life, and can handle the excess of pressures, than you made the right decision.

@nixxi- it may not be in the comps, but it is in my heart.

Mike, the social stuff is only overrated because you don't have any to account for <3

And do you do extemp? What school do you go to? I do extemp also but LD is my lover.

Mike, what should I do if I'm pregnant? What should I tell my parents?

touche nixxi. High school is so inconsquential for me.

no my school has no debate team of any form, but when it comes to making absurd points off the top of my head, I can do improv.

Dear Mike,

What is your viewpoint on underage drinking?

Dear Mike,

How can I become a billionaire-- legally?

@RHSstud- one of things you can get disowned by your family is not telling them your pregnant. You have to decide if this baby is a wanted child or an unwanted child. If the latter, get your parents to take you to an abortion clinic. If the former, you parents have excellent advice, because they have had the experience (with you).

@stresballz- Underaged drinking is a bad habit, just like video games or McDonalds. If it consumes you it can take over your life and project it in a negative downward spiral. With that being said, if you want to party, and there is no way for you to get in trouble, I see no reason why not. The Europeans do it. However, do not drive. You cannot imagine how f-ed up your life gets when you have a DUI/DWI on your record.

@stuckon1700- obtain capital, do this by taking advantage of a market of limited supply and high demand. Then invest in low liquidity portfolios. By then post war inflation may have caught up to a billion dollars.

And illegally?

@gime - Insider trading is the most popular way, the trick is getting to be an insider.

So should I shut down my smuggling enterprise and put my heart and soul into becoming an "insider"?

On a more serious note: I like the sounds of Kenyon but don't really want to visit. Is it a good plan to apply, see if I would get in, then visit? It probably ranks as a low reach/high match.

Dear Mike,

Since you have seen the highlights of Laguna Beach on the Soup, which is the best show ever, do you think that Lauren ruined her life by choosing Jason over an internship in Paris? When one must choose between the person one loves and the opportunity of lifetime, what is the right thing to do?!

@eurstres - Wait for the acceptances to roll in, you will save a lot of money, if 1) you get rejected or 2) if you get into a school that you'd rather go to

@nac2 - Question 1: These are pretty rich white kids with problems. I emphasize rich, as in they live in laguna beach, and they are getting paid a substantial amount of money to do the show.

Q2: litsen to your heart, whens he's calling for you
listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going and I don't know why
But listen to your heart before, you tell him goodbye

there is no right or wrong thing, just make your choice and don't look back.

Dear Mike again,
What do you do to avoid being the victim of a clingy friend? I'm starting high school with one and I'm afraid of her adhering herself to my side... :

@Kissme - here whats up. Ingnore her. Blow her off. Try to join a different group of people a different clique. Not just be like GO AWAY, do it subtly.

Dear Abbey,

I need a kidney.

Dear Mike,
why on earth did you start this column?

@me.duh - I think I can give some good advice, and I was bored like a 2x4.

:)

Dear Mike,

Do you think we would be BFF if we both end up at UChi or Rice?
