Yes, the 23rd is the first date that Fall meal plans can be used. They will be on your Cal1 card.

Could you chance me to the College of Engineering at Cal and Out-of-state

Is there anything to do on the opposite side of campus? Or is it mainly limited to the telegraph side?

^^ The North Asian Ghetto has some nice food. The Thai place there is tasty. Further, go up Euclid and there’s a place called Hummingbird Cafe that makes some tasty sandwiches, including terrific bagel sandwiches.

Also, the math building is that side. :D

^^ La Val’s and La Burrita are also good places for food and beer, and The Stuffed Inn has excellent clam chowder on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Why does Cal sucks?

Ignore him - lame Stanfurd student. Can’t even write English properly. Representative of the quality of the student body? You decide.

PS - Where’s that Axe, asian75. Don’t see it anywhere on the Stanfurd campus.

You win some and you lose some. It’ll come back this year. Guaranteed.

Javhid Best FTW :D

Hey, I am attending Cal this fall (in three days, eeps!) Just have a couple of questions I REALLY need to have answered asap

I was wondering if my friend who’s helping me on move-in day is able to stay overnight in my dorm as well during Welcome Week. We’re low on cash, and wondering if this is fine if my roommates are okay with it.

And can we bring our own microwave and mini-fridge from home, as in not renting from the school?

Ohh, and how can we mount a tv screen onto the wall, and bulletin boards if we can’t send a nail through the wall?

It’s fine if your roommates are fine with it.

Yes you can.

I don’t know about that one…

You can’t mount the TV to the wall unless you’re fine with getting a fine for it when you leave. There is a portion of the wall that is just cork that lets you put push-pins for your decorations like paper, pictures, etc.

how hard was comp. lit R1b?? i’m taking it right now and i’m not so sure about it…
