did you complete all the indicator courses?

are you a transfer student or freshman?

What kind of job can you get with that.
I am a little interested about business

Sorry for such late replies! I did complete all the indicator courses, I will be a freshman next year (2014), and business has a TON of possibilities. You can work in almost any field, but, the goal with every specific business major is going to be to make as much money as possible for the company. I, personally, will be majoring in MIS, because I like computers.

Let me know if you want me to go more in depth with any of my answers!

What classes would I need to take to internal transfer for mccombs

135pipe - you have to take macroeconomics, microeconomics, two semesters of calc. Not sure which calc courses they are, but I believe some are 408c and 408k

Ok thank you so much man

In UT Austin course numbers, the McCombs indicator courses are ECO 304K+304L and one pair of calculus courses chosen from M 408K+408K, 408N+408S, or 408C+408D.

Correction, that first calculus pair should be M 408K+408L.

does it matter if calc 1+2 were taken at a CC, anyone know?

It does not matter if the calculus courses were taken at a 2-year institution, so long as UT Austin evaluates them in transfer as one of the pairs M 408K+408L, 408N+408S, or 408C+408D.

How hard is it to internal transfer into a major?
Also at orientation can you transfer into a major or not?

If you mean into McCombs, it is extremely hard. Whether coming internally or externally, the average GPA is around a 3.75. Engineering is also very tough, other schools are easier.

Thank you so much for posting this! What were your standardized test scores? That is the thing that is worrying me the most about my chances (and my rank-I attend a very small and competitive non-ranking school). My ACT was a 28 (I probably won’t submit that- I was pretty sick when I took it; 34 English/ 30 CR/ 25 Science/ 23 Math) and my SAT was an 1880 (720 CR/ 550 Math/ 610 Writing). I plan to retake the SAT and I’m working really hard on math. I hope to increase it to at least a 650.
