@PengsPhils Great answer. Thanks

I still don’t quite get how co-op works with tuition. So when you are on your co-ops you are not paying any tuition? So let’s say that you coop on fall, so for that year you only pay half the tuition because you only attended spring?

In other words. In a 5 year business program with three coops. How much tuition do I have to pay overall? The full 62K each year or…???

Thank you all in advance!

you will pay for the equivalent of 8 terms over the course of the 5 years (although some of these will be summers which are charged at half) - so in a co-op year - you pay tuition for one full and one summer semester.

My son received his acceptance December 15th, came as a surprise and a good one at that!

So is there a difference between the 4 year coop program and the 5 year one in terms of tuition?

@jffp97 No, 8 semesters tuition for both options.

@JFFP97 the only difference would be that you need to pay housing every semester regardless of being in classes (through NU or not- you need somewhere to live). However, I’d not really consider this an extra cost of NU as you’d need housing after college anyways.

Hi I got accepted into the northeastern I.N program, is there any way i can opt out of that and go there as a fall student?

@sasha345 No, NUIn is a final decision and cannot be appealed.

Hi! I’m not sure if this has been asked on a previous page, but are you allowed to pick your roommate? I was admitted to the regular fall semester and my friend was admitted to the nu.in program during the fall… is it possible for us to be roommates?? How do dorms work for the nu.in program are they only allowed to room with other nu.in ppl?

@sabrinac123 you will need to be assigned a roommate for fall and your friend will be assigned a room when they come to school in January. They usually fill in empty rooms in frosh dorms in January. For fall, you can either choose a roommate (and each list each other on your housing form) or just go random. I suggest the latter.
