Myself and a lot of my friends and I ended up taking 172 second semester freshman year. However, I do know people who have taken it first semester. But it wasn’t due to there being no spots (at least in my case). I started off college with taking 15 credits and opted for English 106, which I figured would be less difficult, instead of Physics.

Depends on the company.
