what’s a better class in terms of interest and ease? ESPM 50AC (Spreyer) or Sociology 3AC (Haytin) ? I signed up for both but will only take one of them since I passed APUSH last year and will just use AP Credit. I’m in CoE if that matters.

Are Smith (math 1b) and Borst-Rothe (rhetoric) good/easy teachers? I couldn’t find them on ratemyprofessors.com

i have a quick question…

I just received notice that i received an outside scholarship. How would I report this to Berkeley and would I also need to report it to the FPF program (if so, how do I do that)? Thank you!

Are we allowed to change our schedules once school starts?

I just realized that the theme housing I want to participate in requires me to take a class, but I’ve already submitted my schedule…without picking that class.

add it in phase 2

bump

what’s a better class overall? ESPM 50AC (Spreyer) or Sociology 3AC (Haytin) ? I signed up for both but will only take one of them since I passed APUSH last year and will just use AP Credit. I’m in CoE if that matters.

I’m kind of confused here,
Do FPF students also add/drop classes on telebears during CalSo?
Or is it a separate system?

FPF students just e-mail class change requests to whatever e-mail is on the website.

Should I take English r1b during FPF or just take something like ______ Studies during the spring. If I forego ENglish r1b during the fall, I’ll probably end up taking a humanity I don’t need anyway.

R1B is pretty hard to get into on-campus. I would just get it out of the way in FPF.

Thanks. what’s good with English r1b with Catherine Hollis then?

Typically, what dorms do spring admits usually stay at during the spring semester?

If I can’t attend the FPF Calso, do I still need to submit a “can’t attend” explanation?

I can’t find the “I can’t attend!” option anywhere, is this because it is now past June 12th or is there no such option at all for FPF?

hey i have a few questions… i’ve been feeling a bit in-the-dark lately
- when will we find out about housing! (for those FPF participants who applied for dorm housing)
- when do we find out about CLASSES! (also for FPF participants) I turned in my schedule request a while ago and I don’t know if there is some sort of confirmation. If there is, where can i find it and when does it come out (if it hasn’t already).
Thanks

If you can’t attend FPF CalSO then just don’t go. No need to tell them anything.

Housing you find about pretty late…after the fall admits. I don’t really remember when but I’m tempted to say late July / early August.

Classes you find about pretty late too…probably August. But you can change your schedule even after school starts so don’t worry too much about it.

Alright thanks a lot vicissitudes!!
when do you pay for FPF fees & classes? right now i’m following the deadline schedule on myBerkeleyApplication Website and there hasn’t been any info on payments yet so I’m guessing that I shouldn’t do anything about it right now…

anyone else scared off by the Math 16a teacher? Supposedly, he has terrible reviews on ratemyprof.com but 16a is suppose to be easier than 1a.

anyone else here get that email saying the increased the size of the amount of students for the fall program for freshmen? I don’t know, I’m getting this feeling that someone’s out to scam me, I mean why is it asking me to send in a check instead?

hey…anyone know if WiSE is worthwhile?? It was my dorm offer (RH suite double)…but I don’t know much about it? Foothill is kind of far from FPF classes, so is it worth it…any info is appreciated!!

hi!

i juss found out that i passed my IB English A1 HL test with a 5…what means i passed out of the R & C requirement…however, i plan to go to medical school, which most requires me to take english…should i wait for later to take english…or should i take it now in FPF…im not sure what to do…take math 16a and three breadths or math 16a, english r1a, and two breadths (as originally planned)…what do you guys think? any opinion is appreciated!!

oh…if its easier to have the classes to gauge the schedule…the actual classes would either be…

math16a, classics 10a, sociology 3ac, and espm ac, and WiSE seminar…
or
math 16a, english 1ra, WiSE seminar, and two of the three breadths chosen above (any opinion which two if this choice is better?)

THANK YOU!!
